This weekend we went to GEEX and had a blast. For those of you who don't know what GEEX is it's the Gaming and Electronics EXpo. We entered the cosplay contest (costume contest) And we got 1st place in presentation. Our skit was awesome. I will find a recording of it later. But here are some pictures from the weekend.
At one of the booths Dave (Nate's friend) did a digital caricature of Kayana.
Hawkeye and Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist
Link from Twilight Princess. Her sword, shield, and sheath were all made from paper.
Shadow Link from Ocrania of Time
Our 1st place skit!
This is when Boo killed Mario at the end of our skit.
Our prize from the skit.
TeJay in his Mario shirt. He and Crystal came. Crystal took pictures of our skit for us.
Kayana in costume for judging.
Our cute, tired Boo. She fell asleep for judging and also when we were performing. It was a lot easier to perform while she was sleeping though.
Nathan ready for judging.
Kayana after judging. She was so sleepy. She is our good sport.
I don't remember what this guy was from but his costume was awesome. I will have to ask Nathan.

Wow I'm behind.
So I have a lot to catch up on.
Kayana won't go to sleep if she doesn't have her soft blankets. I put her to bed on her back with her blanket on her and every time I go and check on her I find her like this:
On Father's Day we went to church with Grandpa and Grandma Jolley. We spent the afternoon with Great Grandpa Scott where Kayana "helped" them build his ladderball game.
Reading the instructions
"Helping"
Chilling with Great Grandpa Scott
We spent the evening with my dad because it was his double day Father's day and Birthday.
Me and Angie tried to get a picture of Dad.
Success at last!
The evening was spent with Family, Fun, and water Fights!
Now Kayana is 9 months old! I don't know where the time went. I can't believe that in 3 short months she will be one.
I will have to get the pictures of the last weekend. We had a surprise party for Daddy and watched fireworks. I will post them as soon as I get them.
